COMMERCIAL PILOT

MULTI-ENGINE RATING

The multi-engine rating can be added on to a Private or Commercial Certificate. The multi-engine rating certifies pilots to operate aircrafts with more than one engine. Become a Flight Instructor

Whether you're newer to aviation or a seasoned veteran, becoming a flight instructor is a great opportunity, here's why:

  • Quickly log flight hours:  if your goal is to become an airline or corporate pilot, becoming a flight instructor is a very rewarding way to rapidly accumulate flight hours.  Most airlines, charter, and corporate flight departments have minimum flight hour prerequisites, which can be difficult to achieve for newer aviators.  

  • Improve your soft skills:  teaching others is an easy way to build your empathy, communication and patience (all soft skills), which are highly-desirable attributes that airlines and business aviation employers seek in pilots.

  • Refine your flying skills: as the old saying goes, teaching is the best way to learn.  The knowledge, confidence, and stick-&-rudder skills a flight instructor gains is astonishing.  Ask any flight instructor, they ALL say they 'really' learned how to fly while instructing.

CERTIFIED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR

Do you have a passion to teach others, while improving your flight skills?  Becoming a CFI is an amazing way to teach others the knowledge you have gained and shape future generations of aviation specialists.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Hold a commercial pilot certificate

  • Hold an instrument rating

  • Be able to read, speak, and understand the English language

  • Obtain at least a current third-class medical certificate

  • Have logged at least 250 hours and the required training for the CFI rating per FAA regulations

  • Pass a knowledge and flight test

CERTIFIED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR INSTRUMENT

Taking the CFII course will focus on learning the best techniques to teach Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) to Private and Commercial pilots.  

 

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Hold a commercial pilot certificate

  • Hold an instrument rating

  • Be able to read, speak, and understand the English language
